Comments about The da Vinci Code

The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown is a novel; but for people that may take that it has a lot of factual information, I’ll offer a few comments. The picture of The Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci was just a modern idea about the event. The real scene was of 13 men reclining on divans around a U shaped of tables. They weren’t sitting up. Page1937 of The Urantia Book gives this description: "On the right of the Master, John: on the left, Judas, Simon Zelotes, Matthew, James Zebedee, Andrew, the Alpheus twins, Philip, Nathaniel, Thomas, and Simon Peter."

The ages of the 12 Apostles were near the same age as Jesus, around 30. Vinci picture has some real old and a couple could be even interpreted as young, or female. Two were standing and there was no place for them to sit at the table. The picture has no basis to recreate the real event.

The idea of that Jesus and Mary Magdalene had a child is impossible. Remember that Jesus was a high spiritual being and if they had a child, the child would be a superhuman being and probably with an eternal life span. The child should still be living. Also on page 1330 of The Urantia Book : "But I must remind you that one of the incarnation mandates of Sonarington forbids the leaving of human offspring behind on any planet by a bestowal Son of Paradise origin."

There is a reason why the Knights of Templars gained so much power. They got control of the Shroud of Turin. It has the image of Jesus, not made with hands. For more information see my web site: http://www.bold-books.com/
