Global Warming
The public should realize that the Scientists have it all wrong about global warming being caused by carbon dioxide. They base their theories on recent small variations of carbon dioxide. It probably is an effect instead of a cause. They ignore a real test of millions of years and a large percent of carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide was extremely high in the atmosphere before the coal age. It has been guessed that it could have been about 50 percent. Now it is less than one percent. So if carbon dioxide was extremely high and the earth cooled down, it would indicate it really isn’t an important factor in global warming.
“The primitive planetary atmosphere is slowly evolving, now containing some water vapor, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and hydrogen chloride, but there was little or no free nitrogen or free oxygen.” P.659. So according to The Urantia Book, carbon dioxide was the major gas in the atmosphere about one and half billion years ago. At that time earth was boiling hot, but earth cooled down, so carbon dioxide didn’t keep earth hot
It was during the coal age that ferns converted carbon dioxide into coal. The vast amount of coal underground indicates the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere was very high. “Carbon dioxide was still present in the atmosphere but in lessening degree.” P.680. The temperature before the coal age was similar to the temperature during the coal age, so the major change in the percent of carbon dioxide didn’t have hardly any effect on the temperature. “And the climate was still mild the world over.” P.681.
Scientists don’t know what caused the Ice Age, so we shouldn’t pay any attention to their speculative theories about global warming. The Ice Age was a major climate change and so it indicates there are many factors involved. “…are attended by the emergence of flood tides of short space rays of radiant energy. Accompanying these diverse radiations is a form of space-energy unknown on Urantia. This short-ray energy charge of the universe is four hundred times greater than all other forms of radiant energy existing in the organized space domains.” P.667. A recent newspaper article: “Greenhouse gases might be chilling upper atmosphere” indicates that there are complex factors involved.
I read that ice has been melting on Mars these last few years and so it is possible that the sun has caused the recent warming on earth. Senator James Inhofe said the news media was hyping the view that humans are causing global warming. This I agree with and we should pay attention that we are receiving just one sided ideas about global warming.
Don’t get stressed out about global warming! Challenge the Scientists about their false ideas and see what their answers to these ideas.
Urantia book readers are challenged if they really believe the book, or if they just follow what the public believes in. If a thousand Scientists say that global warming is caused by carbon dioxide, but none have read The Urantia Book, then can’t it be possible that their ideas are wrong? Scientists by their nature of focusing on one idea don’t get the big picture. Do you believe that before the coal age that carbon dioxide was the major gas in the atmosphere? If you believe that, then the carbon dioxide can’t have a major effect on the climate, because at that time with an extremely high percent of carbon dioxide the effect should have been extremely strong. Since the earth cooled down we have evidence that carbon dioxide isn’t an important factor in the climate.
Urantia book readers have a realistic big picture of the world and aren’t stressed out by false ideas from the Scientists. We should also consider that we need to be global stewards by not starving the plant life. Carbon dioxide is the life blood for plants.
