Three Realities
There are three separate realities of matter, mind, and spirit. We are living in a scientific age, when everything is attempted to be explained by science. The problem, as everyone knows, is that it doesn’t really explain a lot of situations. What I am attempting to do is to look at reality as three separate realities. There is a reality of matter. There is another reality of mind. There is a third reality of spirit. Each reality has its own laws. In the reality of matter like charges repel. In the reality of mind and spirit like qualities attract. This is revealed in the saying: “birds of the same feather flock together”. We realize that in the reality of matter there is the law of gravity. What we also should realize that there is a law of gravity for mind and for spirit. Each reality is separate, but the reality of mind has the ability to contact the others. We live in the reality of mind. It is the reality of our human will. The reality of matter deals with knowledge. The reality of mind deals with meanings. The reality of spirit deals with values. We study these three realities as science, psychology, and theology. We relate to the three realities as beauty, truth, and goodness. Consider my discovery of the pattern in Luther’s 95 theses as evidence for the reality of spirit, because it relates to the Spirit of truth. This gives us a key for studying the reality of mind and spirit by finding patterns in a person’s writing.
In this generation everything is attempted to be explained in terms of the reality of matter. Mental functions are attempted to be explained in terms of the operation of the brain. The problem is that there are many different tasks to be done. There is the control of the body, awareness of the environment, memory, mental calculations, awareness of a self, will, and probably many others. The problem is that the brain can’t handle these different tasks because some are opposite to its functions. Consider the fixedness of memory versus the changeable will. Also consider, for example, you are in a room and look from side to side. The room to you seems to remain. But consider the eye as a camera. If the camera moves slightly you get a fuzzy picture. So from a physical prospective the image of the room should be fuzzy as you move your head side to side. Since the room to your awareness is constant, you need to say that there is a mind that transcends the physical sensations of the eye and keeps the awareness of the room constant. Now science needs to share that it only reveals one third of total reality.
There is a separate reality of mind. It has its own laws. Mind has the ability to contact matter reality and spirit reality. It is the reality of our consciousness. Mind is creative. Mind tends to create material mechanisms. It seems natural to create a better mouse trap. Mind likes to discover hidden mysteries. Mind likes to explore remote situations. Mind likes to formulate mental systems. Mind tries to attain wisdom goals. Mind tries to achieve spirit levels.
For humans mind functions on seven levels, which have been called adjutant mind-spirits. The spirit of intuition is quick perception, reflex instincts. The spirit of understanding is the spontaneous association of ideas. The spirit of courage is the source of moral stamina. The spirit of knowledge is of curiosity, adventure and discovery. The spirit of counsel is the social urge. The spirit of worship is the religious impulse. The spirit of wisdom coordinates the other six. So mind is a separate reality that has its own laws.
Probably the best evidence for the spirit reality is the Spirit of truth. I discovered that the Spirit of truth can be found in the pattern of writing of a spiritually reborn person. It is of ten parts. Generally a part would refer to a paragraph. The sequence of paragraphs then relates to the sequence of the Spirit of truth pattern. The Spirit of truth pattern is the pattern of Jesus Christ parables. Jesus authorship pattern is confirmed by the pattern of the Parable of the Prodigal Son and the pattern of Jesus last day. These gives a person an idea of the quality of each of the ten parts, which is necessary to determine if a writing is of the Spirit of truth pattern.
The source of the reality of matter is the Father, the first person of the Trinity. In a sense, it is the origin of Paradise, the home of the Trinity. Paradise is the source of energy that becomes matter. This is the reality that is the subject for scientists.
The source of the reality of mind is the Infinite Spirit, the third person of the Trinity. First, we should realize that the Infinite Spirit has a mind, but it is not the cosmic mind. Next, we should realize that our seven adjutant-spirit minds is actually not the direct source of Infinite Spirit, but of a local daughter of the Infinite Spirit.
The source of the reality of spirit is the Son, the second person of the Trinity. The Son is the source of spirit gravity. This gravity control of spiritual things operates independently of time and space; therefore is spirit energy undiminished in transmission. The Spirit of truth is a local operation of spirit reality and so it takes on the pattern of Jesus Christ. I discovered that Jesus parables are written in patterns with ten parts. So we can test for spirit reality by finding a pattern of ten in people’s writing.
There are three separate realities with each having their own laws. They are the foundation for science, philosophy, and religion; for beauty, truth, and goodness.
